HOW DO MEN SHAME THEMSELVES AND HOW DO WOMEN DISHONOUR THEIR HUSBANDS IN THE SIGHT OF GOD AND HIS HOLY ANGELS??

1 CORINTHIANS 11:3: But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Vs 4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. (dishonors Christ).

Vs 5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: (dishonors the man) for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

Vs 6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

Vs 7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. __

Vs 8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman GENESIS 2:21&22

of the man. Vs 21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon

Vs 9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but _ Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed

the woman for the man. up the flesh instead thereof;

Vs 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from

__ the man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Vs 10 For this cause ought the woman to have ²power on her head because of the angels.

(I do not know whether you have a reference column, if you do, see a small number 2 in the reference column. Small 2 – That is, a covering, in sign that she is under the power of her husband).

In view of verse 10, see PSALM 104:3: Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:

PSALM 68:17: The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

(From the above we see: - PSALM 104:3 - CLOUDS = CHARIOT

- PSALM 68:17 - CHARIOTS = ANGELS

In other words - CLOUDS = ANGELS

With this in mind, let us read):

HEBREWS 12:1: WHEREFORE seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is before us,

1 CORINTHIANS 11:13:

Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

Vs 14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

Vs 15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

(Yes indeed, her hair is given her for her glory and a covering, but this is not the covering that God requires. I know there are some folks who say that the woman’s hair is the covering God requires. With this in mind, let us examine very carefully):

Vs 6 (says) For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: ...

Point one: If the hair is the covering, as some folks say, if a woman be not covered (bald) let her also be shorn or shaven. See for yourself, how can it be possible for a woman that is bald (or has no hair) to be shaven or shorn?

Point two: If long hair is the covering God requires, unfortunately there are some of our sisters who have very short hair by nature, therefore they cannot reach God’s requirement).

Vs 16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

(Examine this in context with verse 14, and you will see the obvious).

Vs 17 Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.

Vs 18 For first of all, when ye come together in the MATTHEW 13:30

church, I hear that there be divisions among you; Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time

and I partly believe it. __ of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first

Vs 19 For there must be also heresies among you, THE TARES, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but

that they which are APPROVED may be made manifest gather THE WHEAT into my barn.
