Gerard's POV

Fire balls kept flying out of my hands as Bob tried to dodge them.

"Fuck off!" Bob exclaimed, shooting crystal out of his hands, missing me by only a few inches.

"When the fuck will you learn that no one wants you alive?" Frank asked, pulling a tree out from its roots and swinging it at Bob, trying to bat at him like he was a baseball. Bob flew up high to escape it. He then created a massive crystal bat with his hands and hit Frank in the mouth. making him stumble back and fall to the ground, the tree resting beside him. I rushed over to him.

"Are you ok?" I asked him. He shook his head, opening his mouth. Blood poured out between his lips. I got him to open his mouth as wide as he could while Bob was still floating in the sky laughing. Ignoring Bob's laughter, I inspected my boyfriend's mouth seeing that all his teeth were there, only he'd bitten his tongue which was bleeding.

"MIKEY!" I exclaimed. There was no point in calling out 'Hot Boy'. Everyone present knew who he was anyway.

"What?" he asked, looking over at me.

"I need you to make out with Frank," I told him desperately. I didn't want Frank to have to worry about his swollen tongue when he needed to be in the best condition he could to fight off this asshole.

"What? Why?" he asked.

"He's bitten his tongue. It needs your healing powers," I told him. Mikey sighed and looked at Mimi.

"Come with me. I want to protect you just in case that jackass tries anything," Mikey said to her. She was frozen on the spot. Frank and I watched him as he quickly leaned forward and tenderly kissed her lips. Both of them seemed shocked at first. I was shocked too. I hadn't expected that tonight. Sure, maybe in a few weeks, but in front of Bob who hated the idea of Mikey moving on? Did not see that coming.

"Please, come with me," he pleaded. Mimi was shocked, but seemed to nod and follow him over to Frank. As the four of us were huddled together, Mikey put up the shield to stop Bob doing any more damage to us. With his free hand, he grabbed Frank and slammed their lips together.

"Get heaps of tongue in there," I ordered my brother. Frank was gonna kill me later for making him make out with my brother. But after a minute of them going at it, Mikey pulled away, wiping his lips.

"There," was all he said, turning around and kissing Mimi once more, shocking everyone again.

"Sorry," he apologized to her. "But if I die tonight, I want you to be the last one I kissed and not my brother's boyfriend," he said, a dreamy expression appeared on Mimi's face.

"Let's plan an attack for this dude," Frank said.

"I vote we just all throw anything we can get our hands on. Except gravestones are off limits. I don't wanna be haunted by ghosts," I said, making Frank giggle and kiss me. He tasted like toffee, which would've been really awesome, except for the fact that by tasting his toffee, I was inadvertently tasting my brother which was just gross when you think about it.

"Ok, how about I stay with Mimi so that I can protect her since she's the most vulnerable and Gerard keep trying with the fire. Frank maybe jump on Gerard's back and fly up in the air and try to attack Bob from up there. Use your strength and flexibility and speed to your advantage. Try to help Gerard dodge the crystals--"

"Holy shit!" Frank exclaimed. I looked around. While we were talking, Bob had encased the shield bubble inside a box of pink acid-crystal.

"Oh my god, now what?" I asked.

"I wanna try something," Mikey said. "Everyone stay as you are, except Frank. See if you can stick your hand through my shield."

"Wait!" I exclaimed. "If he sticks his hand out, he won't be able to get it back in!"

"Ok, so what do you propose we do?" Mikey asked.

"I'll stick my hand out and melt the crystal with fire. I'll work from the bottom so that it doesn't drip on my hand," I decided. Fire would melt the crystal, but wouldn't change its composition. Only water changed its composition and made the acid inactive.

"Ok, sounds good," Mikey said.

"Wait," Frank said. "Gerard, I don't wanna lose you," Frank said.

"You won't," I told him, hugging him tight. As I pulled away, Frank opened his mouth and spoke once more.

"Marry me," he requested. I froze and looked at my boyfriend. Huh? What just happened? Did Frank really just propose to me? Or was I hallucinating.

"Stop staring at each other and get us out of this crystal!" Mikey exclaimed.

"I have a better idea," Mimi said. "I know I don't know the extent of your powers, but I've seen you all work together on TV," she said.

"What's your idea?" Frank asked.

"Well, Mikey's got a shield right? And everything just rebounds off it. So what if he could make his shield bigger and stronger and just smash the crystal into a million pieces?" she asked.

"I guess I can try," Mikey decided. He focused. The green shield seemed to be getting darker and bigger. Suddenly Mikey screamed and the shield expanded with force, breaking the crystal and making Bob rebound over to the other side of the cemetery. And then Mikey's shield stopped and he fell weak.

"Mikey!" I exclaimed. Fuck, I didn't want my brother to die. He was on the verge of closing his eyes.

"Mikey, keep your eyes open," I told him. "Don't go to sleep," I said as I heard Bob's laughter come closer.

"I'll look after him Gerard. Just go after that maniac!" Mimi exclaimed. I hesitated before realizing that she was right.

"Frank jump on my back!" I exclaimed. Frank immediately got on my back, wrapping his legs around my waist as I took off into the sky after Bob.

"Oh look, now I can crystallize you both together," Bob spoke as Frank's fist extended, stretching beyond normal length and punching Bob in the nose. His hands immediately went up to his nose as I took the opportunity to get him.

"I know I said this last time, but hell, this time, it's not only for Erica but for my brother too!" I exclaimed, fire shooting out of my hands and aiming right at Bob. Unlike every other time when I'd shot fire at the asshole, it missed. But this time, I sunk his battleship. He caught alight and fell to the ground, screaming and writhing around in pain. We landed on the ground beside him. Frank moved over to him and stamped the small flame out on his stomach with force, making him double over in pain. Frank grabbed Bob's hands and held them above Bob's chest.

"CRYSTALLIZE YOURSELF!" Frank ordered. Bob didn't do anything so Frank kicked him in the side.

"I FUCKING TOLD YOU TO CRYSTALLIZE YOURSELF!" Frank exclaimed. Suddenly, almost like Bob didn't mean to and his emotions betrayed him, pink crystal shot out of his hands and engulfed his head, chest and upper legs. I guess his pink acid crystal was triggered by the emotion of fear. Frank and I watched as his legs and arms waved frantically, until they suddenly stopped, signifying that Bob had suffocated in the pink crystal. It was only a matter of time until the crystal melted and he'd be eaten away. Bob Bryar was finally dead.

"Oh my god," Frank said, watching Bob's motionless form as I moved to wrap my arms around my boyfriend. Frank pulled out his cellphone and called the cops and an ambulance for Mikey. It didn't take too long for them to arrive on the scene and when they did, Frank and I let them deal with Bob's acid-crystal covered corpse as we went back over to Mikey.

"How is he?" I asked Mimi. I noticed his eyes had closed, even though I told him to keep them open.

"He's still alive. I keep checking for a pulse. But we need to get him to hospital," Mimi said as the paramedics came over and prepared a stretcher for Mikey.

"We're really sorry, but we are going to have to remove his mask so that we can put an oxygen mask on him," the paramedics said.

"If it means that it will aid in helping him get better, then do whatever you have to," I said to them.

Only one of us was allowed to ride in the ambulance. We decided that Mimi was probably the best one to go with Mikey because no doubt Frank and I would be called down to the police station to be questioned. I mean, we'd just killed a guy. But that was one person I knew I'd never regret killing.
