Gerard's POV

Frank and I were currently invisible outside Erica's apartment waiting for Bob and Ray to show up. We had gotten there at a few minutes to five after Erica had told us at work today that Bob had called up last night and told her he was gonna be at her house at five o'clock.

At exactly five o'clock, Bob and Ray arrived, walking up the path and buzzing Erica's buzzer to let her know they were here. She buzzed them up to her apartment and Bob and Ray entered the complex, Frank and I hovering invisibly behind them.

We all ascended the stairs to her apartment. Once we were there, Bob knocked on the front door to her apartment and less than a minute later, Erica was at the door.

"Hey Bobby!" she said, her voice full of admiration as she gave him a hug. "Hey Richard!" she exclaimed, hugging him too, before letting us all inside. Frank and I went over to the corner of the room where we invisibly hovered.

"So, can I get you guys anything to eat or drink?" Erica asked them.

"No thanks Ricky. We came here because we needed to ask you something," Bob said.

"Oh, ok, well sit down and make yourselves comfy," Erica suggested as all three of them sat down on the couches. "So what did you want to ask me?" she questioned.

"Well, you know how we were involved in that toxic explosion when Grandma was dying?" Bob asked her.

"Yeah?" she replied.

"Well, it was rumored that the explosion was how those superheroes got their powers... uh, who are they? The Dark Skeleton and something or other," Bob said, clearly acting stupid.

"The Dark Ninja and The Skeleton," Erica replied.

"Yeah! That's them. I heard that's how they got their powers. And I got some powers from that too. So if they did, and I did, then you must've gotten something too because we were together when that explosion happened," he said. Erica thought for a second before opening her mouth to speak.

"Yeah, I did get powers!" she exclaimed excitedly.

"Really? Because if you have powers, you could totally work with Ray and I," Bob suggested.

"Work with you? How so?" she asked.

"We want to bring down The Skeleton and The Dark Ninja. They have done nothing but damage to this town," Ray said.

"What? Does that mean you're Dr. Krustallos and The Executioner?" Erica asked.

"Oh, you've heard of them?" Bob asked her.

"Yeah. I've happened to hear a little bit about them. So are you them?" she asked.

"Well there's no point denying it. Yes, we are," Bob told her. "But the only reason I've confided in you is because I trust you not to tell anyone," Bob said to her.

"Oh, don't worry, your secret's safe with me. I would love to work with you," she said to them. I knew it! I fucking knew it! She was nothing but a traitor!

"You would?" Bob asked, his mouth curling into a smile. "Well there are some things you should know," he said to her, before explaining everything about who Ray really was and how he got his powers.

"Wow, that's impressive," Erica said, genuinely looking amazed.

"So, what powers do you possess?" Bob asked Erica.

"I'll show you tomorrow if you come by to my apartment again," she said. "But right now, I have to call up Mikey. We're going on a date tonight and I need to find out what time he's coming by to pick me up," she informed her cousin and his friend... her new team mates.

"Ok, well we'll leave you to it. It was nice seeing you again Ricky," Bob spoke, hugging his cousin once more.

"Bye Ray. It was nice to see you again," she said to him, also giving him a hug, before they left. Frank and I were still hovering in the corner, Frank trying his best to get me to move over to the door. But I had other plans. No one turned on The Dark Ninja and The Skeleton without suffering the consequences.
