Gerard's POV

"Mmmm Gerard, touch me," Frank moaned

I reached my hand down and touched him as I continued thrusting up at him, continually hitting his prostate.

"Oh god Gerard, I'm coming," he moaned, his face looking adorable as I felt myself climax.

"Ohhh," I moaned.

I looked around my dark bedroom. There was no one in here other than myself. Dammit, I'd had another dream. It was Sunday night. I'd spent this past weekend thinking a lot about Frank. I figured that I would march in there tomorrow morning and do something about reconciliation. However as far as reconciliation went, I didn't want to go straight back to what we already were. Until I saw that he could be a decent person without his Skeleton outfit on, I wasn't gonna be romantically involved with him. I didn't want to get hurt. I'd only been in one relationship, but that one was one-sided and I got hurt. I didn't want the same thing to happen again. I got up to change my boxers.

The next morning, I awoke and showered before pulling on my Dark Ninja costume and heading outside. I went to the middle of the city and while being invisible, scanned the area from up in the sky, trying to spot trouble. And that's when I saw it. A little old lady was busy looking at apples at a fruit store, when suddenly some guys snatched her bag off her shoulder and ran away. Zooming down towards the guys, who ironically were dressed in black, I saw a gust of wind tackle them to the ground. As the dust cleared, I saw The Skeleton take the woman's bag and then tie the guys up, before calling the cops and giving the lady her bag back. He'd stolen my morning job. It didn't bother me too much. But it made me realize just how much I wanted to work with him again.

I decided to follow him back to his apartment. I had no clue why. Arriving at his apartment a couple of minutes after he'd arrived, I flew in through an open window and saw him still in his Skeleton costume, sitting on his bed, flicking through the pages of his scrapbook, the one with his assortment of Skeleton and Dark Ninja pictures. Pulling his mask off, I saw him wipe a few tears out of his eyes. He was miserable. I decided it was time for me to leave as I flew back out the window I'd flown into and went home to get ready for work.

Arriving on time, I noticed Frank wasn't there yet. I found this odd. He'd had the same amount of time I'd had to get ready and I'd straightened my hair. I decided to sit on the couch in his office and wait for him. I didn't have anyone to tattoo this morning. I could've helped some of the other artists out, but they'd live.

I suddenly got nervous and decided to become invisible. I continued to sit there, waiting for him. He showed up a whole hour late. He went straight to his office, closing and locking his door. I watched as he put his bag down and let his fingers trace over the dent he'd made in his desk last week. He opened the newspaper and decided to read it. I wondered what he was reading. I moved closer to see that he was reading the gossip section. I decided to read over his shoulder. There was an article about us. How we're long over and that crime's gonna not be fought as well due to us not working together. I continued to read when I suddenly knew I was going to sneeze.

"Achoo!" I said, sneezing, my heart now beating faster as Frank jumped a foot off his chair.

"Oh my god!" he exclaimed, holding his hand over his heart. He looked around the room before sighing. "Gerard, come out, I know you're in here," he said. Taking a deep breath, I revealed myself to him. "So, what brings you to my office? Did you want to scare the living shit out of me? Cause you succeeded," he informed me, both of us laughing nervously.

"I've thought about everything," I said to him. "I'd like us to be friends. Only friends. I think I'd prefer to get to know the real you a little better before I consider being romantically involved with you again. I forgive you for everything you've done to me in the past. I want you to know that you're free to date other people considering what I want is for us to only be friends at the present time," I spoke to him.

"Friends..." he trailed off, furrowing his eyebrows as he examined his nails. I knew he wanted to be more than friends. It didn't take a genius to work that one out.

"Yeah. I don't want to squash your hopes or anything, but there's still so much about you that I don't know and there's stuff about me that you don't know," I pointed out.

"Well what kind of stuff? I mean, I know for a fact that you don't have 3 testicles or anything," he pointed out.

"Yeah, but you've not really talked a great deal to my brother or hung out with me properly. I want to hang out with you properly before I even consider us being more than friends," I said to him.

"So there's still a possibility that we could be more than friends some day?" he clarified. I nodded.

"Ok. I'll settle for being friends right now. You know, today, I had a plan to lure you into my office and lock us in before convincing you to have sex with me on the desk. But I'm so chicken, I probably would never have gone through with it," he said, giggling nervously. I chuckled.

"Can I have a hug from my friend?" I asked.

"Hmmm, I'd suppose that's ok," he said, grinning wider than he had in a whole week as he stepped forward and wrapped his arms around me. And there we stayed for about a minute. We were just content hugging one another, relieved that we were both at least talking to one another. This week was gonna be brighter than last week.
