Preparing Before Using

Pre-ride checking

Refer to owner¡¯s manual for proper starting and riding instructions. After the first hour of race use, we recommend checking the tightening of all components, paying special attention to the following parts:

 

Handlebar £Footrest£Wheel sprocket £Shock absorb £Engine bolts and nuts £Rear sprocket£Front brake lever£Throttle control£Clutch lever£Engine stop push button£Disk-type with hydraulic control£Chain£Axle of wheel

 

And pay attention to the follows:

 

1. Check all fuel and electric lines for proper connections and being filled with fresh gasoline.

2. Wear protective clothing, gloves, and eye protection that doesn¡¯t interfere with your vision.

3. Use a gauge to check the air pressure of tires. Adjust if needed. Also look for signs of damages or excessive wear.

4 . Spokes & Make sure the spokes are tight. Also check the rims for damage.

5. Look under the motorcycle for signs of leaking fluids (fuel, engine oil)

6. Engine oil: Check the level or window of green oil and add oil if needed

7. Check the free-play and adjust if needed Rotate the throttle to make sure it moves smoothly without sticking,and snaps shut automatically when it is released ,in all steering positions .

8. squeeze the front brake lever and step on the rear brake pedal to check that the controls operate normally.

9. Adjust free play, if necessary.

10. Check fuel and add fuel if needed .also make sure the fuel fill cap is securely fastened.

11. Check the condition and slack of drive chain .Adjust and lubricate if needed, also check the chain slider for wear and replace if needed.

12. Check the capable housing foe wear .Check the fittings for looseness .replace or tighten as needed.

13. Use a wrench to make sure for wear of nuts &bolts,

14. Check for looseness of spark plug.

 

Remember, be sure to take care of any problem you find or have your Dirt Bike dealer correct it before you ride

 

Knowing before riding

Before each ride, make sure you and your Dirt Bike are both ready.

First, before you ride your motorcycle for the firs time, we strongly recommend that you:

. Read this owner¡¯s manual

. Make sure you understand all the safety messages

. Know how to operate all the controls

Second, before each ride, we also suggest that make sure you:

. Are in good physical and mental condition

. Are free of alcohol and drugs

. Are wearing an approved motorcycle helmet (with chin strap tightened securely), eye protection, and other protective clothing

Third, if you are a parent, be sure you also read the important Message to Parents.

 

Protective apparel

 
 
! WARNING Not wearing a helmet increase the chance of serious injury or death in a crash. Be sure you always wear a helmet, eye protection and other protective apparel when you ride.

 

 


Following are suggestions to help you choose the proper gear.

 

A helmet should fit your head comfortably and have a chin strap that can be tightened securely.



Always wear a face shield or goggles to protect your eyes and help your vision.

Additional Riding Gear

In addition to a helmet and eye protection, we also recommend:

. Sturdy off-road motorcycle boots to help protect your feet, ankles, and lower legs.

. Off-road motorcycle gloves to help protect your hands.

. Riding plants with knee and hip pads, a riding jersey with padded elbows, and a chest/shoulder protector.
